The Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has revealed the Rivers State Microfinance Agency (RIMA) Loan 2024, a N4 billion initiative established in collaboration with the Bank of Industry (BOI) to enhance Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.
In the address he gave on the day marking his first 100 days in office, Governor Fubara highlighted the strategic partnership with BOI, highlighting its potential to significantly reduce unemployment and foster entrepreneurship. The program is designed to offer accessible loans to MSME entrepreneurs at highly competitive interest rates, with a repayment period extending up to five years.
Who Can Apply For RIMA Loan?
Interested applicants must:
- Either be indigenes or residents of Rivers State
- Be aged 18 years and above
- Own a business
